The March AdMonsters Publisher Forum in Miami welcomed digital strategists, operations, and technology leaders at online publishers, content creators, and mobile application developers to “define the future of digital media.”
Attendees heard keynotes from Deepna Devkar, VP, Head of Data Science at Dotdash, and Ishaan Sutaria, Founder and COO of Wave, covering how to leverage data science into publisher operations and how to drive revenue outside of owned-and-operated properties, respectively.
Our VP of Product, Stuart Moncada, and CRO, Jesse Poppick, were there and were particularly struck by Devkar’s keynote (who is clearly a fellow member of the data-appreciation society). Most interestingly, how she’s integrated data science into Dotdash’s revenue operations and created a specific research role on the team to inform strategy beyond simpler optimizations.
Other sessions included presentations, round-table discussions, and case studies on a wide variety of topics, like ad serving technology, inventory management, organizational structure, business process automation, ad operations policies, rich/streaming media and more.
